His sudden desire to gossip told him he’d had too much to drink. He pushed his glass away as a signal that he was done, and crossed an ankle on top of the opposite knee. “Jude is a difficult woman to love, it seems.” He left it at that and crossed his arms, holding the cigarette to his mouth…

Oliver shook his head and took an audible breath. “Its been a long day.” He informed with his eyes closed. Opening them again, he looked across at the blonde, observing the features of her face, her lips much darker than their encounter before, as if lipstick had stained them earlier that day. He sat back in his seat while he secretualy evaluated her movements, enjoying the silence for a moment before speaking again. “Will Jude be wondering of your whereabouts?” He asked suddenly, curious as to who kept an eye on her.

There was just a small idea in the back of his mind, but the hint of flush in her cheeks was making it grow. He reached for the cigarettes before remembering the pack was empty.

"Jude? Oh no, she doesn’t notice me.." She whispered, her voice breathy and sweet for a moment before she coughed in an attempt to look like she was clearing her throat, then smirking across at the doctor, watching him reach for the packet. "Would you like another? It will only take a few moments for me to get you another pack." She grinned and rose from her seat, hiccuping as she did and blushing, gaining her balance for a moment before slowly walking toward the door.

"Would you care to join? It could be rather fun.." She smirked and winked at him before opening the door and stumbling out of it.

Oliver gave a cheeky smirk. “I would.” He answered, uncrossing his legs and standing from his seat. He made his way over to the door, his back to the young nun as he reached for the knob.

It occurred to him just then that is was the middle of the night. His hand still in mid air reach, he turned back to face her. “Where do you plan on getting cigarettes at this hour?” He pondered.

"That’s for me to know and you to find out." She smirked and assisted him in opening the door, sliding her way past him silkily and leaning against the brick wall in the hallway, giggling as she waited for him.

As he walked out into the hall she linked her arm through his and thought nothing of it, walking happily down the hall and descending the stairs, embarking on the long walk to Arden’s office. Once they arrived Mary looked at Oliver and pressed a finger to her lips, pressing him into the wall before walking a few more meters to knock on the doctors door, who answered almost immediately, and greeted the young woman warmly, to which she disappeared for several minutes.

Oliver followed, as if being drug, feeling rather silly with someone’s arm linked through his own. Regardless, he allowed the Sister to lead him through the seemingly endless corridors, a notion in her step that told him she knew exactly where she was going. The young nun seemed ecstatic, but he blamed the alcohol.

When they stopped suddenly, Oliver allowed himself to be pushed against the wall without protest. His fingertips grazed the cold brick wall he lent against, and he remained silent as he watched her rap on the door just before them.

Upon hearing Arden’s voice, Oliver’s brows furrowed.

Mary’s visit to Arden’s office was nothing short of provocative, to the point where her flirting was ungodly. She completely baffled and blinded the man with her behaviour that she was able to take his full packet of cigarettes without him noticing, when she’d laid herself across his desk.

She giggled cheekily at Arden and left him with a kiss on the cheek, a wink, and a husky “Thanks Doc.” Before twirling herself out the door and straight into Oliver, grabbing his hand and quickly running off with him down the hall, the alcohol causing her to giggle more. “Here you go.” She smiled and tossed the cigarettes at him gently, giving him a wink too before walking back to his office.

Oliver, caught off guard, stammered for a moment before speaking. The confidence she leaked was alarming and somehow unfitting for a young nun. Regardless, he enjoyed the show and found himself growing more and more intruiged.

"How is dear Arden?" He asked with a small sneer, pulling a cigarette from the pack and lighting it. He made his way to his usual chair, the one she had warmed prior, and sat in front of his typewriter. Leaning back, he stretched before crossing his arms. "You visit him often, Sister?"

"Don't touch me!"

Oliver reached his hand back slowly, a small shudder running across his body at the volume and force of the voice. “I…” He started, this face secretly growing red as frustration began to fill his chest. “I only wanted a mother’s touch…” He admitted in an uncomfortably cold voice. The doctor’s breathing became labored, sweat gathering across his brow under the mask he wore. A mask of skin.
